For the love of Jennson Miracles happen every day at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children but, for people in Clearview, this one is personal.In a six-and-a-half-hour operation Tues., July 19 a team of 21 doctors and nurses successfully removed a tumor from the tiny body of seven-month-old Jennson Douglas.Now with chemotherapy treatment set to begin Tuesday, the community is rallying around the plucky little girl and her family with a scrap metal fundraising drive and a window decal campaign. The surgery capped off an overwhelming 10 days for parents Amy and Aaron Douglas of Stayner. |
