For the love of Jennson
Miracles happen every day at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children but, for people in Clearview, this one is personal.
In a six-and-a-half-hour operation Tues., July 19 a team of 21 doctors and nurses successfully removed a tumor from the tiny body of seven-month-old Jennson Douglas.Now with chemotherapy treatment set to begin Tuesday, the community is rallying around the plucky little girl and her family with a scrap metal fundraising drive and a window decal campaign.
The surgery capped off an overwhelming 10 days for parents Amy and Aaron Douglas of Stayner.

Frontline Breast Cancer fundraiser

A fundraising event aimed at providing financial support to those fighting breast cancer in the Georgian Triangle. Money raised here stays here. We have all heard of or know someone local affected by breast cancer. If you would like to support this fundraising event with a donation of a product, service or cash, our office is now a drop off point for donations from May to October for area residents and businesses that would like to support
